I always find the solution to sync PC Firefox 5.0 bookmarks with my iPad.It’s easy to import bookmarks to Safari web browser from Firefox but can’t sync it.If you have same problem as me ,here i share the solution for you.
1.You need Firefox 4.0 or later.Click ‘Tools’ –> ‘Options’,select ‘Sync’ and click ‘Set up Firefox Sync’.
2.Click to create a new account.enter in email address,password and agree to terms of service,then select ‘Sync Option’.
3.By defaults all the items are checked.Here i would like to sync Firefox bookmarks only,then i just put a check on ‘Bookmarks’ option and click ‘Done’.
4.A sync key will be given to encrypt data sending between PC Firefox and iOS devices.you need to note down the sync key before click ‘Next’.
5.Enter Captcha code to confirm you are a human and click ‘Next’.
6.Now sync set up is complete.Click ‘finish’ and your Firefox data start sync.
7.Now download Firefox home iOS app from iTunes store to your iOS device.I use iPad as this tutorial.
8.Tab Firefox home icon to launch it.Tab ‘I have sync account’ icon since you have create the account in above step.
9.Now a password code appear in your IOS device.This password code need to enter in PC Firefox setting option to add iOS device.
In Firefox,go to ‘Tools’ –> ‘Options’ –> ‘Sync’,click ‘Add a device’.
10.Enter in password code shown in iOS device and click ‘Next’.
11.It will take few minutes to sync the data.Firefox home screen shown in iOS device after sync completed.
12.Tab ‘Bookmarks’ and select the page that need to display and you can view and read in iOS device.
13.Tab the icon that locate at bottom and can view in Safari web browser.
