iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak has been released by the Chinese team PanGu, the jailbreak tool is available to Windows, while a Mac version is in development. We found that some iOS users confirms that the tool works as expected, now we try jailbreak an iOS device with this PanGu jailbreak tool.
The jailbreak is compatible with the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPad 2 or later, iPad Air, iPad mini and the fifth-generation iPod touch running iOS 7.1 or later.
iOS 7.1.1 Jailbreak Tutorial
Before start jailbreak iOS devices,
- Update iTunes to latest version.
- Backup with iTunes.
- Temporary disable SIM lock and screen lock.
- Download PanGu jailbreak application from here by click on “Windows” button.
- Tap on “Settings” > “General” > “Date & Time” > toggle “Set Automatically” to OFF status > Change date to June 2, 2014.
Now connect iOS device to desktop with USB cable and run PanGu application. The PanGu tool build with Simplified Chinese interface, uncheck the item as photo below to avoid 25pp (piracy store) being installed by default, then click on “Start Jailbreak” button.
The jailbreak program will start automatically. If you notice interface change it as below, go back to your iOS device and tap on “PanGu” icon > tap on “繼續”(continue) again.
Jailbreak program will continue, your iOS device will reboot again. Make sure SIM lock and screen lock already disable.
As you see the PanGu application interface change as photo below, that means iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak is successful. Now your iOS device will restart again.
Cydia icon appeared after iOS device rebooted. Tap on it and it will running to set up some setting, then select “User” mode to complete whole jailbreak.
Do not forget change back date and time setting.
