Google dictionary is not longer available starting from last week suddenly. Now only can use Google web search to find definitions or Google Translate for your translation needs, if you felt Google dictionary is more suitable to you, here i will sharing how to continue using this application even it’s already not available.
Use Google Dictionary
The simple way to define a word with using Google is enter ‘define word‘ in Google searching bar,
As you seen the definitions come out don’t have any pronunciation, simple explanation and no synonyms etc.
Recently i found out Google dictionary in mobile version from Google China, Hong Kong and Taiwan still can access to the application. You can use this mobile version define English to others languages if you are knowing Chinese language as well.

You may think Google dictionary in mobile version quite troublesome, try “Google dictionary for chrome”. Google dictionary for chrome is a extension for Google chrome web browser, it’s supported dictionary are

Download this Chrome extension and installed. Click ‘Aa‘ button appear beside address bar and select ‘Extension Options’.
Select your prefer define language in My language option, then click ‘Save’.
Now you can type a word in the column and click ‘define’ to translate it or double click on the word, it’s will show a pop up definition.
